The UST Mathematical Society is a student organization that provides opportunities for academic development, collaboration, leadership, and community engagement. Through its programs and initiatives, the organization aims to create meaningful experiences for students interested in mathematics and its applications.
OUR MISSION AND VISION
The UST Mathematical Society-SCI, as a recognized organization in the University of Santo Tomas, aspires to serve the Thomasian community by providing mathematical assistance to students and promoting Mathematics as a key to intellectual development. The organization, composed of individuals who are driven by their passion to share their knowledge in Mathematics in service to the Thomasian community, shall achieve its aspirations by upholding the Thomasian ideals and the teachings of the Church and believing in the importance of Compassion, Competence, and Commitment.
The UST Mathematical Society-SCI envisions itself to be a catalyst of academic excellence as it exposes Mathematics as an important field. It also envisions itself as the source of the professional, moral, and social formation of its members to become proud individuals who are preeminent in the field of Mathematics in this Catholic Institution.
